Specter Roblox is a free ghost-hunting investigative game where you need to check clues to identify lost souls. You and your allies walk in dark buildings equipped with lights and tools, checking for any signs of ghosts. It’s better that you complete the objectives before the ghosts find you. 

Other games that will send chills up your spine include It Lurks, Bakon Tycoon, and F.E.A.R. The only downside to the multiplayer lobby is when a player leaves the game while it’s in progress, leaving you to continue alone. There are also different maps you can explore.

Identifying ghosts

Much like the game it’s based on, namely Phasmophobia, Specter has you and your team investigating haunted locations to identify ghosts. There are dark hallways and open spaces to walk through, while a ghost could be around the very next corner. It’s best to stick together so you don’t wander off alone.

The game has easy controls to master, and there’s a quick tutorial explaining how things work. To start playing Specter, you need to enter a lobby that can take up to four players. 

Using the right equipment

Some players already have equipment they purchased from the store with in-game credit or Robux. If you’re new to Specter, you can choose from the items on the shelves. You’ll need a source of light, one of the ghost-detection tools, and anything else that will help. The aim is to use the tools to complete the objectives per level.

Enhancing your inventory

This Roblox game has a Battle Pass you can spend Robux on, which unlocks limited-edition tools and equipment. It gives you an edge when searching for ghosts, which may help your allies. Just don’t leave the game while it’s in play, as it will leave your friends without the proper support.

Specter is an entertaining investigative game where you need to use your skills and wits to check dark areas and find ghostly clues. The objectives center around identifying which rooms the ghosts enjoy the most, which will help you in your quest.

The best strategy is using the right tools while working as a team. With the lights out, you need to either flash your light or swap it for one of the other tools.
